SciFi and Fantasy Art Taife the Mind Mage by Lieuwe Boer


	Drawn november 2002 This is my half of an art trade with Rae E. Hamburg. She asked me to draw Taife, a so called Mind Mage from one of her stories. He is described as a young man with curly dark hair, an engraved staff and a painfully blunt attitude. The cup he is holding has everything to do with the story, in which tea plays a significant role.

18 Dec 2002	Claudia M. L. Smith	Loading... Nice! Yep, the anatomy on this one is really good, and of course the shading on the clothing is great, as usual! (especially the legs. I like the legs and feet a lot.) The only bit I would pick fault with is the hair (it looks a little like ribbons) but then I can't draw hair for peanuts so I wouldn't do any better! Great expression too, of course... what's making him so pleased with himself? Lieuwe Boer replies: "The curly hair was a thing that I was less happy with, so yeah, I think you pointed out the biggest fault. And wouldn't you be pleased with yourself if you were able to read everyone's mind, finding out that they all adore you? I know I would have a smirk like that on my face."
