An illustration I did for the Topia trading card game. This image has been included in Exposé 6 and d'artiste: Digital Painting 2 by Ballistic Publishing.

Not much to add on this, I believe the image speaks for itself.

Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, a few days.

No modifications, copying, etc. Thanks for your understanding. ^^

Wonderful! I love the details you put into her. Is she based on a woodland grouse? that is what the wings look like.

:-) Liiga Smilshkalne replies: "Thanks! Technically the wings are based on the red-bellied woodp.ecker (added the period to avoid funny censoring o.O), but the patterns are quite similar and the colors did end up looking closer to what a grouse would sport."
