Tag As FavoriteComment		This is a drawing I did for my mom for Christmas. Took forever, but her reaction was so worth it! The girl in the picture is me when I was 6, used photoreference for the face and some of the hair.

On a sidenote, this won the 1st place in the Renderosity.com Christmas Card contest last year, in 2D category. ^^

Tools: Corel Painter 8, Trust tablet
Time taken: a week I think
Working size: 2550x3300 pixels

12 Liiga Smilshkalne replies: "Thanks a lot! Tool-wise, this was technically done with the 'acrylics' brush in Painter, I never really felt comfortable with the airbrushes. Then again, since all the 'brushes' are emulations anyways, in a way you could call it airbrushing, too."
