You did such a great job on the horse also. I love the whole picture. You must color this picture in! Glad you like it Jenny! Hehe... Im going to have to color it now... thanks! I did do some adjustments to the horses nose, so once i get it colored and updated you'll have to tell me what ya think! Thanks again!!!
| 29 Jan 2003 | Sandy 'Hawk Fangor' Moose | Loading...Maybe it's just me, but the right hind leg (the one in back) looks like it's turned in an odd way... Like it's twisted wrong... I dunno... Good job, though! You have GREAT anatomy on horses... and girls... I wish I could draw this well... Hmmmm... now that I look at it I see what you mean.... hmmm.... damn stupid legs, I'll have to work them a little better... hmmmm... | |
| 31 Jan 2003 | Sandra Leigh Wagner | Loading...way cool. I tried to draw a girl on a horse once. Got the horse's head perfect, never could get her right. I like the forelock look to the girls hair, though I think the unicorn's forelock should flow like it too. About that forelock... The way the line at the base of the horn goes it gives the impression that the horn starts more on the side of his head. Use the forelock to obscure it a little more a little further up and it'll be perfect. easy fix!
Really cool though, especially on the girl' leg! Ye... my sketchy lines do get a little crazy on that forelock, but I'll make sure I draw it right when i start on the color version, Just remember it is a sketch and isn't cement and permenent... lines do run free and out of place... But really happy you like it, especially that leg... I was afraid nobody would notice... hehe : )

| 4 Mar 2003 | Alana Westwood | Loading...I love this! Great shading. It may be just me, but the head seems proportionally too large compared to the shoulders and leg. Other than that, very good. I hate large headed unicorns... hehe j/k : ) actually thats my bad, when I was draw him I thought his head was to small, i guess i over shot... eek! so now he's reall really smart! tehe : ) | |
| 1 Apr 2003 | Ryan Bourret | Loading...Stunning! Love the horn! Thanks... ye I don't know why I always curve them I think it adds character! Im hoping to add a study of this unicorn into my gallery soon! : ) | |

| 26 Oct 2003 | AMRose | Loading...It was mentioned the head being too big proportionately, I disagree. I interpreted it as foreshortening, which is another way of pulling the viewer into the drawing. I think thats why I like it so much, foreshortening is so much fun to play with. Either that or maybe there's a little draft blood in this unicorn. Yea I think I remember that past comment, and she told me later she was referring to the girl... which I didn't even consider... so i just thought she was talking about the unicorn, but anyhoo thanks for the comment! | |
