A little faery who dwells in trees. Yes, she is quite skinny, and that's because I've always imagined faes to be un-human in a way, more like an insect in shape. Acrylic paint on canvas

I really like this. The whole thing is relaxing and the color scheme reminds me of spring. Great work, especially on her hair and the leaves. It's a great picture.

:-) Liliane Grenier replies: "Thank you! Yes, it could well stand for "Spring" I have in mind of doing an autumn one real soon, I love this season..."

"that's because I've always imagined faes to be un-human in a way..."

Fairy: come from Old French Word meaning "fairy"... that
come from Latin Word of the Roman goddess of fate, who got
her name from a Latin word that meant "fate"

So Liliana, faes are from Divine Origin so I guess they
are un-human... but i am only a mortal creature and have never meet one in real life... i can be wrong...

:-) Liliane Grenier replies: "Oh great! Now I want my name to be Liliana.lolThank you for the great definition, it's good to know where the word comes from, they *are* un-human afterall!"

Nice moment captured! Like the big seemingly simple strokes looking so controlled and I love the fay! Very sweet!

:-) Liliane Grenier replies: "Thank you! I tend to be very controlling.lol"

Oh she's sweet! I love her "corsage"!Thanks!I guess logically, faeries wouldn't wear a corsage, but this might be a very girly one, who loves to make them up.lol

Cool. She is pretty, and I like her and her clothes. 2

:-) Liliane Grenier replies: "Thanks! I've often wondered if faeries realy do wear clothes...or is it just as to not traumatise children when they read their faery tales?"

She looks like she's fixin to peg somebody with that ball... kind of like a Samwise with an apple.

:-) Liliane Grenier replies: "LOL! Perhaps!"
