From a favorite childhood story. Second of my faery-tales serie. The Lady begs the frog to go fetch her golden ball from the deep lake. In exange, she has to live with it, eat and drink from the same glass, etc. Of course, the frog turns into a prince in the end. 16X20 acrylic and marker.

with the exception that Chartra's hair is knee length and she is elven, this could very much pass for a pic of her (from my newest novel endeavor.
She is beautiful.

But you know, I've always hated this fairy tale. She treats the frog horribly and still gets the prince. She throws him against the wall before he changes.

Still this is a beautiful painting.

Es-que tu te rappeles quand on a fait un video de l'histoire! On l'a filme il y a probablement dix ans. quand on voulais que la grenoille saute dans l'eau on a filme Janie (je pense) sauter sur un draps bleau pis on a arrter la camera. Janie s'est enlever du draps pis on a recommencer a filme! J'pense que sa c'est passe comme sa... haha, on etait pas mal innivateuse. 2
C'est un vraiment beau dessin, it brings back memories

she is tall long neck and graceful
though with a real tummy
very good figure drawing
and the frog is charming
