Closer as in perspectivewise... and (now you'll want to shoot me): Where's the background and where's the colour? I know.. Its a lot of trouble but I found that perseverance makes a difference... I still have trouble doing backgrounds and colour but am getting to the point where people don't recognise the trouble it took me. That's good! And you're drawings are cool! Michael James Liljenberg replies: "The background is still in development. This is just a character sketch; an attempt to get a look for a character in a novel I'm writing. (The look of the face in more recent sketches is somewhat different.) I drew it durring the dull spots in a college lecture, and a background would just clutter up the purpose of the picture. The perspective with the hand is off. You can make out some of the eraser marks around the shoulder and hand (originally I drew the hand far too large). But the class was over, so I finished it up" | |
