This is the first piece I did after my brother and father got me a Pablo graphics tablet for Christmas last year. I still have the same problem as I do with the mouse, where the eye is looking, isn't where the light pen is touching the pad. I did do the little farie entirely with the pad.

Heheh I hate "tablets" Myself. I used to want one more than anything in the whole world. For a year or so I had been using the mouse, sketching less and less on paper for lack of a scanner.

When I finaly tried it out I hated every second of it. I thought about switching to using a scanner, but then magic happened... I found I could use the mouse as well if not better than a pen/pencil after all the years of practice!

As for the eyes? Eyes done on an angle like in this picture can be hard regardless of where you want them to be looking. The shape alone can throw some people. One trick that occasionaly works for me when trying to get the eyes focussed on a point, and you can't just eyeball it. Might be to place a small dot roughly where the eyes are concentrated. Even if it is supposed to be a point at a much further distance, the guide can help sometimes. Like I said it's not a sure fire fix, but occasionaly it has saved a painting I was about to delete to the recylcing bin.

your elves have wings? Nifty.
I love the way the wings blend into the background with the same paterns.

Only trouble was that the background of your picture, and the elfwood background are the same colors, and they almost blend into each other 2 Not your fault, and nothing you can do about it unless you added a white boarder...

Love the picture though. Very well drawn...

Well I have to say very cute-n-colorful! I love the colors and the wings. She reminds me of Arie off of Baldurs Gate 2 the elf who once had wings but they got choped off for some reason I cannot remember why. Well... This is K-Dream sprite bidding you a fairy nice day... I love fairy's!
