made for Halloween and inspired by Japanese fairy tales. in Japanese myth, raccoons (tanukis) foxes and some old cats can shape shift, both into other living things and inanimate objects. this kitty is still a bit to young to transform properly as you can see here. even so she is very happy to have been able to get this close to being a pumpkin, as you can tell by her almost disgustingly cute grin. happy Halloween folks (i hope this gets posted in time for the holiday)

 

made with 2 craft pumpkins, paper clay, eyes torn from a busted teddy bear, an airbrush w/acrylic paints, and fiber optic strands (for the whiskers.)

Kya: Just so you know, Fox is Kitsune, and Cat is Neko. But, I think it is actually sort of cute... Weird.xD
