Tag As FavoriteComment		this life size replica of a hippogriff (names losly on Harry Potters Buck Beak) was made by yours truly out of recycled and weatherproof material. the neck is an old fake Christmas tree, the head is a flower pot with cut blinds for feathers, a beak carved from Styrofoam and an Easter egg eye, the body is built on an old BBQ stand, the hooves are flower pots, the wings are also fake Christmas tree fronds and fake plants, the eagle feet are high-heel boots with foam insulation tubing and the legs are framed out of poles of metal and wood wrapped in fake fur and it was all wired and zip-tied together and spray painted....ALOT of work. oh yeah, that is my 15 year old sister standing(man did the upload ever chew up and spit out the detail of her Elvin-like face...darn)next to it for size reference, it is HUGE!
