| 8 Feb 2004 | Patricia L. M. Scott | Loading...Your profile picture is on a base by Josie's dollz...(http://www.over-the-moon.org/dollz) Even if you drew the hair and outfit, it does not make it yours. Please give credit where credit is due! Aside from that...your gallery is beautiful...I really like the soft colors....you are also very original and I think that's a novelty among artists. ^^ Alyssa Renae White replies: "First off, I did not make this Doll so How can I give credit where it is due? My friend made it for me. So I had no part in it. Understand? Oh...um...thanks for the comment. I suppose..." | |
| 16 Feb 2004 | Patricia L. M. Scott | Loading...You don't have to be so bad-tempered. I thought I was being pretty nice, and even if your friend made the doll and you didn't, that's no excuse for not giving credit. How can you give credit? It's simple: "My friend made me this but she got the base from Josie's Dollz". Ouch. That really slaughtered you, didn't it? And "Thanks for the comment. I suppose..." I spent time going through your gallery and I thought you deserved a comment, which I gave. I didn't flame you, I gave you a NICE comment and I also NICELY advised you to give credit. I didn't deserve your attitude. Alyssa Renae White replies: "The onlything with writing comments is they come off mean when they are not supposta sound mean. I did not mean it in a bad temperway that is not how I am. I was just saying that I didnt make it. Honestly I was not saying it in a attitued, but when you type it out I suppose it can be in any state of mind that the reader is reading it. I never said you flamed me and HOnesty it was not ment to say like how it was sounded.
When I first put this doll up, the creator of it got full credit, but that was a good...6-7 months ago. So dont get me wrong I did credit her and I always credit where i know that credit is due.
Oh..and another thing the remark "Ouch. That really slaughtered you, didn't it" Was uncalled for. But Im not going to be mad that you wrote that. Because It didnt slaughter me and I dont want to get into a battle.
As for me writing "Thanks for the comment. I suppose..." I was really upset reading what you wrote me. It made me feel like a theif and im not. It really really hurt.
On a lighter note, Thank you so much from commenting on my work. You are truely a great artist and I think your work is fantastic and defenitly going in the right direction in life. Keep it up, dont let it get away from you. I did now it is rare when I do art work anymore.
I'm sorry all this had to happen. If there is anything I can do for making it up to you please let me know. All this should not have happened. When I update elfwood again I will be changing alot of things on my site. Once again I apologize for the way my further typing sounded to you when you read it. It was not supposta sound harsh or cold. and I promise you There was not attitued intended.
Can you forgive me?" | |
| 25 Feb 2004 | Patricia L. M. Scott | Loading...Thank you for commenting. I'm sorry as well. I didn't mean to come across as being rude either, but I suppose we were both in a rather prickly mood. I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to make yourself clear, and I hope I didn't upset you too much. I think you are a talented artist, and that you keep drawing/painting...erm...all that good stuff! And of course I forgive you!!!!! I just have a temper that flares up now and then, and I have had a few run-ins with people that steal other people's art and claim it as their own, so I was just a bit anxious. OK, that was understated. I was mad. But I'm not anymore, and I hope this whole thing can just blow over and we can go on complimenting each other like the wonderful people we are. PS-i guess no one's emotions can be felt or understood through typing. that's what starts these misunderstandings. i think i'll be more careful in the future, too. take care! | |
