This is a picture I drew for one of my sisters.  I just finished it today (February 24th, 2009) for her 15th birthday.  Here's how it came about.

My sister asked everyone in our family to make some kind of artistic representation of her or some aspect of her for her birthday this year.
I thought about it for a while.  I knew she was Year of the Dog, and that her Sun Sign was Pisces.  I asked her if she had any ideas along those lines.  Someone else had drawn her as an elf, but she said she would have liked to have had a sword.  Once I heard that, I had enough to start the picture.  I started it the evening before, and finished it the morning of the day it was needed.  So yay for me; I finished it on time!  Took me altogether about 3 or 4 hours, I guess.

So that's the reason for the fishy design on the sword hilt and the wolf next to the elf.  The elf doesn't look exactly like my sister, but I took little inspirations like the part of her hair and a little bit of the way her lips are.  Oh yes, and her ears do kind-of stick out a little bit, but I thought of that only AFTER I made the elf's ears so long.  ^_^

Done with a mechanical pencil and touched up a bit in a computer.
Comments are welcome!  xD  Among all the other things, I'd like to know if that wolf looks like a female to you.  That's what I was going for.

Oh yes, and be sure to see it full size--almost all my pictures are a little larger than the normal display size.  Enjoy! ^_^

Very nicely done. I like the idea of wolves and elves working together. I have drawn them seperate, but now I think you’ve inspired a new idea for me. Thank you 1 I hope to do something with the two together.
