This, I suppose, is how a fairy would take a shower. Or maybe just a morning freshener. All that dew, ready for the taking. Anyway, she's so small that the water droplets just kind-of roll off her, so she has to keep collecting the dew that comes off the leaves and splash herself with the drops. I can just imagine it, and it's so very cute. ^.^

Made with a mechanical pencil and touched up in a computer.

26 Feb 2009	Samuel E Martens	Loading... This one is my favorite. Very creative! Love the dew. Michael A Rasmussen replies: "Why, thank you ever so much! The dew, indeed, was so very fun to draw. It started with the one on the tip of the top left wing, and just grew from there, expanding and adding more and more drops. It was a nice way to implement all the dewdrops and raindrops I’ve observed over the years. It never ceases to amaze me how each picture is like it’s own story, not only in what’s presented, but how it was conceptualized and drawn in the first place. I’m trying to color it presently, so, who knows, I might be able to post that sometime if I finish it. ^_^ Thanks again, Samuel, for the comment! You get the First Comment Cookie! xD"
