I think the dwarf is very classic. The ink makes it look like an old German woodcut. And the props, especially the wooden beer mug's handle, the hook-blade on the ace (everybody who makes dwarves gives them the comic book looking double bladed axe), the scallops on the hat, and the heaviness of the padlock all make the picture very gothic/ germanic and really cool. Great job.

I agree with the previous commentor, it does very much look like a gothic/german style myth and the beard and moustache, its just great, he looks very foreign, its a great piece.
