When i see one of your drawings, i get lured into a magical fantasy world i always wanted to live in.
Where the strange and odd becomes familiar and beautiful...the unknown and immaterial becoming known and tangible.
We all want to escape this boring, rude, hollow world we live in and everybody has to find a beauty they can examine...yours is getting into this magical world where everything is possible through drawing.
I start to imagine tales of what could happen in that world with these characters which i identify with and look like...which is the man in "Spring Ritual"...only without the muscles and pointy ears and i dont run around naked with wolves, teee heeee ^_~
The backgrounds are as important as the characters and you definitely are very aware of that, a few of the backgrounds remind me a bit of Van Gogh paintings, especially the charming combinations of the colors.
The background and colors of "Dawn and Dusk" is impressive combined with the expressions in their eyes, their posture and the small desciption makes it my favorite one.
When i look at a character they immediately come alive, because the expressions are there and they seem real.
And i think im falling in love with Kithya, the gypsy who i met once before 100 years ago, she took my hand and wrote the spell but she shouldnt have let me go, now my years have gone so slowly, and here i am again my friend, now my life is at an end..."Ay, mine own fortune in my misery" *sobs*
I know you are very critical of your work and thats a sign that you are developing which is only good.
"I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks"
