This is a new portrait of an elf i did since one of my first pics i had on elfwood was an elf portrait and now that i have been here for two years i decided to do another one. only thing about this one is that i didn't really shade the face at all but focused more on the hair. Done in pencil, May 2004.

Well, i think what screw a little that face is the nostrils. You can't see both the nostrils in this position, or at least not like that. The left nostrils wouldn't be that far at least...
Secondly, maybe the head would need to be a bit more ogival, not that flat upside. Addind some hairs to do it roundish would be cool, moreover you draw that hair quite well so 2
And third, to be really picky, would be that arch of the eyebrows, right side... a bit too strong for a frail elvish person 1.
Else i kind of like that one. A nice thing she's wearing too. Keep it up 2

Very good done, I know for myself how hard it could be to get all right, proportions, shadings etc. but you did a really good job here and I don't think that the face is screwed or something it seems quite good, only the spot behind her neck next to her hair seems a little bit strange shaded.
But all in all a very good work.

Very nice work. Her right eye (on her right, not ours) appears to be sliding off the face a little, but that's a common mistake with tilted views. Next time, bring it over toward the nose a little more. Also, the nostrils normally slant upward slightly--they're about the size and shape of raisins, give or take a little.

Very nice job on the folds and hair, though.

The outfit looks great, and so does the hair. Work a bit on the lines in the face and it will be perfect
Love Rian

The eyes , nose and lips r a little off, but keep doin the hair the same. It looks peaceful, calm, relaxing.

Really ,after i read through the other comments and looked closer at the pic.It really would've looked realistic if it had some shadin in.The face shape is screwed-up(sort-of),but after all i'll give u a 95 out of a 102

12 Lisa Cartley replies: "Thanks, i know, i still have a long way to go. Thanks again for the comment!"

The hair is amazingly great. The nose though is turned farther in than the rest of the face. Nice job though 1
