Very cool colors!
Like the idea... why are you dreamin stuff like that? Lisa Coleman
replies: "I suspect because I needed to find my inner Amazon."

This is a really unique picture. I like how you did the fire (that stuff is hard to draw right) and the fire light on the dancers. Have you studied any dream analysis, or alchemical imagery? This picture seems very alchemy related, with the purification by fire, and the amazon arising all white and shiny. Good job! Lisa Coleman
replies: "I wasn't thinking specifically of alchemy when I made this, though I do study the topic, and am making an overtly alchemical one at the moment. But now that you mention it, I do see the symbolism, and I'm glad you appreciate it. I absolutely love dream analysis, that's why so much of my art and writing is based on my dreams and visions, it's a great way for me to understand them more."

Your Amazon looks rather like molten metal, to me. Was that intentional? Also, I love Ares, watching. She's rather lovely, isn't she (*blush*)?
I had a similar dream, recently. Crucifixion, in mine, but it's the same sort of frightening ritualistic theme. The same dramatic colours, too.I wonder if it means anything...
I hope not. Lisa Coleman
replies: "You know, I didn't try to make her metallic, I just wanted some sharp highlights on hot sweaty skin. But I see it now, and I like it, since it is a very alchemical picture. And your dream undoubtedly does mean something, and if it is like this picture, it's a good thing. Perhaps you're going through a rough time in your life, but if you stick through it, you will be infinitely stronger when you come out."
