Created while messing around with my Hestia picture. You can get prints of her at my CafePress store (link on my main page.)

tis beutiful, you dont need to change it at all, it gives it that "fireside" sort a feel, (Hestia was the goddess of the hearth wasn't she???) i love the way you did the face as well, and the dark background/sadow thing looks really dramatic against all those golds and yellows!

Wow, this is amazing! I like the restrictive use of colours, the contrasting spider, the eye in the center of her face! I think its great as it is - psychedelic. Awesome.

Thisis very enchanting, i love her eyes, very spooky and disturbing, she really is a weaver of trickery, im sure!
Once again... I love the style! You have a great imagination and talent, i really enjoy this drawing in particular, its the kind of thing i would love to have hanging on my wall! (do you sell prints?)

It looks like one of the 3 fates (the ones that spin your life thread)

I like the colours and contrast of this one over the other, and the spider shows up better. I know that I am not seeing the face right, though. My focus is funny. It's rather disappointing

:-) Lisa Coleman replies: "It's supposed to be indistinct and unsettling. I see two faces looking to the sides (or with eyes closed) and the single merged eye in the center, seeing all."

I love this! Arachne has always been one of my favorite myths. This picture really captures something about her. Eerie and wonderful.

Wow, mystical. I don't know much about Arachne, but I have heard of the spider being alluded to as feminine creativity and intellect. In that light, the sacred-ness of your picture is very interesting.

She looks so beautiful, although I get the feeling that maybe underneath the veil her face is actually very scary. Brilliant picture!

Lisa, I realize this piece is on another tour but it really fits perfectly for the one I am creating on the Fates. I saw this and the first thing that came to my mind was

"Woah"

And being a writer, I'm not usually left speechless.
If you would like me to take it off the tour, please contact me and I will do so immediately.
Thanks, Heather
