This is a oil painting of a castle with a moon and sun in it (kinda a theme for the wedding) with glitter in the sky. Its the first time I ever painted a house since I was a little kid making a box with a triangle on top. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

When I first glanced at this picture I thought, "nice, whatever," but then I studied the textures,a nd realized how much depth and motion there is in this, it's a hypnotic picture. Like Van Gogh on acid.

I like the colors and the concept and the style and thre tree, the house, the green land, and the sky... I don't really like the path too much 'cause it looks, well... Like a muddy river (no offense) because it's so curvy.. I don't know if i'm explaining myself well, but i hope you know what i mean

Childish!

:-) Lisa L. Hart replies: "Hmmmm so if the art would look good in a children's book its immature art?"

A simple, yet effectively beautiful, picture. But then I saw the big blunder, the moon is screwed up, Ack!
Its too big, and not perfectly round enough. The shadow (dark spot on the moon) is to small. And, on top of all that, there are stars in front of the moon. Its as if someone blew a hole through it (remember, stars are suns/planets. If a sun was in front of the moon, well, its rather obvious)

:-) Lisa L. Hart replies: "Yup it was on purpose, and yes, techically a star couldn't be in front of the moon, but I like it. It was the effect I was looking for. Thanks for giving me feedback that is specifically orintated to help though! I do appreciate that! "

Hey um SILVER I think that might have been on porpose what she did with the moon *rolls eyes* I think it has a nice effect and the rest of the castle is quite lovely.

I love this picture, it's wonderfully bright and vibrant colors. But I I think that you should know that someone was using it on Livejournal.com possibly without you're permission. I just thought you'd like to know. Check up http://pimpmyelfwood.livejournal.com/
