As promised, a color version of Lyx, the cemetery elf. Lyx is a character in my comic book/graphic novel. She is a race of elves called cemetery elves. Cemetery elves live in cemetery forests. For the uninitiated (that should be everybody since I made these up) cemetery forests are the ghosts of old forests grown solid in Yrth Mirror, which is the alternate reality of the cultural sub-concious. Cemetery forest are inhabited by grimour-dyrks, chrysalis and hanging trees, and cute cannibalistic creatures known as Lost Children. The outer areas of most cemetery forests are quite safe because the cemetery elves and the ghosts and the ravens and the bats and the stags all work together to keep the other creatures from running amok. Cemetery elves have two inherent magics. One, they can size change, running the gamut from thumb size to nearly 7.5 feet tall. Second, they can 'swim' through earth and stone like fish through water and have evolved special 'gills.' The mechanics of this are not entirely known though several obscure wizards of the college of green east have made this their life long study. Lyx here is a scout and on bounds patrol

Excellent character study, I like the details in her clothing and the movement in her hair. There has been a similar monolith being placed here and there in Seattle. Its some sort of response to the ear 2001. Anyway, nice work.
