| 30 Jun 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...DAMN!!!!! His shirt is great. you are so talented, being able to draw that withought going crazy(i would have). | |
| 7 Jul 2004 | Jennifer Cox | Loading...Hey, this is not too shabby. It is rare to see anyone do any artwork to this literature. It is a good style, love the expression and the cloak/cowl thing.I don't have a problem with the sword. For all we know, he was a guy who liked his swords short... | |
| 15 Jul 2004 | Arianne 'TeRRa' Cabeza de Baca | Loading...whats so wrong about his sword? I dont see anything. But colour, would be awesome!! hes a hottie! heh Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "The problem with the sword is that the quillion is upside down (or backwards, depending on your point of view). Color? Hmmm- I'm not very good at color, but you seem to be! Would YOU like to color it? Thank you for your comment- It really made my day (technically my night)!" | |
| 25 Aug 2004 | Kelsey Hottman | Loading...I like this very much. in fact i think i like it better than the colored version personally. the colored one kinda seemed to dull it out.. which is odd considering color ussualy livens things.. but anyways very good and the sword looks fine heh heh | |
| 18 Jan 2005 | Ireland Lover! | Loading...Wow! I love it! So much detail! I love ireland too. The fianna are very cool! Especially Finn MacCool! nice work! IRELAND ROCKS! Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Giggle... I love the enthusiasm! I'm glad that you like the drawing. As always, much thanks to you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. It means so much more than I could ever say." | |
| 25 Jan 2005 | J riley Riley McCool | Loading...always happy to see Finn. my dad told me Finn stories every night when i was little i think they come with the name. i loved how he tricked the giants. i was looking for my page and found you. I am glad i did. you have wonderful work. I have no problem with the sword. he might of had two for those picky people. i like it. | |
| 8 Jan 2007 | Bella | Loading...MacCool is only the English version of his name. the proper spelling would be MacCumhail but English people can't pronounce that.
Nice pic, btw. Good clean, simple lines, no fuss. clever idea, pasting bits together.
| 29 Dec 2008 | Jezebellydancer | Loading...I love it, But I would love Finn better with long hair--and his hair went white after he turned down a fey woman--she aged him and his Fianna had to figure out a way to regain his youth--it worked but left him with white hair--hence, the name Finn. I belive McCool is pronounced McKewel. Which just makes him even cooler.
And I just thought that was a dagger he was holding, because he is a giant and I suspect his sword is more than proportional...at least it is in my novel...
I would buy this as a tee shirt on cafepress.
