I love the book 'Ivanhoe' by Sir Walter Scott (I have a soft spot for 19th century adveture novels- don't get me started on 'Three Musketeers'). This is the brave Disinherited Knight and his fair Lady Rowena. I've always thought that Rebecca was much more deserving of Ivanhoe (and a fine example of a strong female character), but that's neither here nor there, because I highly doubt anything I say will inspire a rewrite of a classic. Rowena was getting dangerously close to resembling Denise Richards, but I think I successfully dodged that at the end. I messed up on the e in the lettering.

I really like this drawing, from the shading and color of the armor, to the lettering, its great. I can see just a hint of Denise Richards in Rowena, but just a bit. Great Drawing!

Oh what the heck, first comment Scottish step dance.

great job Hannah i like the use of color and the fact that you made his armor look like real armor and not just the stereotypical metal made it even better

Great job Hannah. Its just like a the way I pictured Ivanhoe. I too think Ivanhoe should have gone for Rebecca.

This is beautiful! The detail is amazing! You must have a good scanner, because I can’t get my scanner to get the colours 8

Hmm....A rewrite of a classic.....I might just take that on.......I’ll have to read Ivanhoe first though 14
But seriously, I think I might do it. I’ll have to change a lot of stuff to make it good and not plagiarism...but what the heck? I’m rewriting Anna of Byzantium. 2
