I knew that it was only a matter of time before the obligatory drow picture appeared in this gallery. This little bugger's name is Lothiron, or as I like to call him '$*!#&@ dressed all in black,' and he belongs to Dan, who did not have the artists comfort in mind when he created him. Kudos to Peter, who suggested adding vertical movement with the cape on the left and the buckle on his left thigh (don't ask me what it's holding, ask Dan.) Also- thanks to Peter, Dan and John for introducing me to punching daggers (also known as katars) which I had never heard of before.

Beautiful. I love white hair, hehe!

This dude is very nicely done, but I think there is something amiss... well, you see the knee he is kneeling on? That leg.. it seems... a little bit too small. Other then that, good stuff.

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Yeah, I hear dat. My initial intention was for him to be back on his haunches slightly, so that the perspective forced some foreshortening, but I didn't bring that across so well. Thanks for dropping by, and thanks even more for taking the time to comment!"

Hannah - Just wanted to say thanks for drawing me such a wonderful picture of my ultra-cool D&D character. John never did give me your email address, that bum. Excellent Work!

The scanned copy has been my background on my desktop since the day you sent it to John 2

This is pretty cool. It's nice to see a straightforward drawing of a cool drow that's not cluttered with spiders and bikinied sorceresses. His left thigh seems a mite too chunky though, like a bodybuilder's leg rather than a swift warrior. But again, it's really good.
