His face is unique and well-drawn, and the expression is endearing...you want to know what he's thinking, how he's feeling. I agree with your description of Robin Hood...he's also one of my favorite heroes. Kudos. | |

| 12 Mar 2004 | Anya ´broom rider´ Kholodova | Loading...Lovely. Hey, you should give him some hair! Please? Or at least a hat... And thanks for including my Sherwood Forest Gang in your tour. Yep, you named all of them right, though I am not sure myself is the guy in the red shirt is Will Scarlet or Alan-a-Dale, Alan-a-Dale is more likely The dark haired small guy who's busy cooking also has name, it's Khelout of Langedok, the central figure of an awesome Sherwood Forest-settled novel "The Sword and The Rainbow" (which is unfortunately available only on Russian). Glad that you like the picture. Thanks again Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "You are so welcome! I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am you stopped by (I'm secretly really suprised I got all those characters right! Yay!). It's a pity the book you mentioned is only in Russian- if you liked it enough to illustrate it, it must be worth the read!" | |
| 14 Sep 2004 | Joanna "nerulean" Piancastelli | Loading...I'm in love with all your heros, it seems. Robin Hood was probably the first hero I ever became enamoured with, somewhere around the age of four when watching the Disney version with the foxes and all... My Robin isn't as deep as yours, I don't think, but I do love this picture. Only, why is it that the only hero I imagine to be blond is the only one consistently portrayed as a brunette? *giggles* don't mind me... | |
| 6 Nov 2004 | Cuccussétte Cuccussette@hot.. | Loading...I love your Robin Hood! I'm happy he's not beefy - yes, when I see Kevin Costner I think of beef, steaks and sausages - but when I see the Sheriff, I think another kind of sweet, hard sausage ! So, your Robin Hood is wonderful ! Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Thank you very much! *bows* I am personally a bigger fan of Al Rickman than Kevin Costner as well. *wink*" | |
