Hmmm- draw your own conclusions, and remember these words of wisdom- 'If you are a princess being pursued by a low-born but worthy suiter, stay out of sight of the Lord High Chamberlain.' It's just common sense, ladies.

You've done a superb job capturing the emotion on their faces. Kind of like they're laughing after something exhilirating.. maybe getting away from meanies? would explain the ripped clothing.. but is it just me or is his hand on backwards? 0_o either way it's still great YAY!

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Nice interpretation. I don't think the hand is backward- but they are laced oddly. Thanks so much for the comment- come back soon!"

Absolutely amazing! Love your shading.. Especially on the girl2

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Thank you. (Bows all around) I think I may have based her a bit on a friend's girlfriend (at the time) named Lauren. Nice girl. Much prettier than the picture."

HAHAHA! Looks like some guy took a girl to prom without knowing she was an international spy...perhaps they just finished running away from a bunch of guys with guns (and ran into some dogs by the look of their clothes) nice fabric by the way. but the guy seems to be thinking "What the hell did i get myself into?!?"

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "This has got to be one of my favorite interpretations so far! Thanks for dropping by. You made me laugh, and laughing is healthy."

it seems that she is the one dragging him along... doesn`t quite look like enthusiastic about the idea.
Really great shading.

I especially like the men's dress...the girl turned out a little bit too masculine to me, but she's still pretty2

M'k, they just got married (hence their formal clothes) er or tried to. but their wedding got attacked by ninjas and well, the wife bein a ninja before in her life fought them off, her husband not doin so well (which is why his clothes are more torn up) and then they have to walk home cuz the ninjas stole their freakin car!

Good job though her one arm seems way more detailed and stuff than the other, even though I dunno what kinda detailing you could do on the other, oh well *shrugs* ets ok. still really good drawing!

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "If I had a dime for every time wedding-crashing ninjas stole my car..."

This is a really amazing picture! Maybe they have runaway from something together, he could have confessed his undying love for her at her wedding and she left a man at the alter and they ranaway from everyone.Perhaps 2

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Heh- I like that interpretation- it reminds me of "The Graduate" or maybe "Spider-man 2," but it should be noted that dry toast reminds me of Tobey Maguire movies, so that should maybe be taken with a grain of salt."

You did a great job and I love this pic. It reminds me of a poem I wrote which is about two lovers beeing chased by their fathers because their social standing is that different. The only thing is that it's winter in the poem and that she is that much injured that she dies in the end. (Looks like it's just the other way round in your pic)
Good job!

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Sad poem. May I read it?"

i love the espressions on their faces and the anatomy is so well drawn..

only thing i have to say is that the guys right hand...is on backward hehe ;P if you face the way he is and then put you hand at your side, youll see your thumb is in the front and the other fingers behind. you have his thumb in the back and the other fingers in the front

otherwise, this drawing is wonderful 2

:-) Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Thank you for your comment! As for the hand- it's not backwards. It's indistinct. I drew this from a picture with really strong lighting, and his hand has a really deep shadow on it that makes it look backwards. I was thinking about changing it, but I didn't have an eraser that wouldn't streak. Thanks so much for stopping by!"
3 Jan 2007:-) Lynnessa 'Lyndi' Dick
Ah ha, I see what you mean about the strong lighting. His hand isn't on backwards, only a strong shadow line! Very nice picture! The shading is wonderful!
