	This picture was inspired by Freyja, the Norse Goddess of Fertility who toured the world in search of her lost husband, shedding tears of gold all the way. She won her necklace by performing a less-than-upstanding stunt, and it is her most prized possesion.

30 Jun 2004	Cormac Mc Quinn	Loading... Great picture - Your use of whatever medium it is - coloured pencils? - is original and refreshing - my use of them is way too conservative! I also like the mixture of styles - almost like a mix of realism, impressionism and comic book art in the one image - very innovative. An interesting and beautiful picture!

18 Jan 2008	Cupid	Loading... Does it matter whether or not her hair is blond? The description says it was INSPIRED by Freyja, not a picture of Freyja herself... Anyway, this is a gorgeous pic. I wish I was as talented with coloured pencils and stuff as you are. I can’t draw like this to save my life... : )
