Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the woods. My name is Hannah (It rhymes with Donna, not banana), and I am a college student from Wisconsin. Rather than tell you useless facts about me, here is a list of things that inspire me:
Bryn Terfel's voice, my father's cooking, people who talk to each other from different buildings through opposite windows, soft music that you can hear from the floor below you at three a.m., opera costumes, my cousin Sarah's speaking voice, people who tie the belt on their trench-coats, the smell of rain, packages from home, travelling with my mother, images of gardens, satin shoes, Oxford Companions (to anything), wine corks, my sister's taste in music, clear nights, seeing the moon in the sky early in the day, walking at night, my cousin Lizzie (in general), cutting silver, art nouveau, streetlights on snow, Carravagio, 'The Three Musketeers,' David Bowie, unusual boxes or chests, businessmen who walk to work (extra points if their sleeves are rolled up or if it is raining and they hold the newspaper over their head), my brother's natural poses, acronyms that spell out words, Shakespeare, Molly's hair, leaving the window open when it's raining, citys at night, the color of my dog, groves of trees, pictures of my twin cousins, people who sing to themselves in the hallway, allusions to mythology, dinner coversation, my grandmas, people who quote classic literature, day trips with Carol, the sparkling wit of the Golden Boys, and, of course, my fantastic, handsome, talented, brilliant, charming boyfriend Seth.
It has been brought to my attention that I forgot to give credit to my favorite model (excepting Seth), Carter, who is always eager to help inspire and is one of my greatest supporters. Thank you Carter- you always give the encouragment I need to pick up a pencil.
Oh, yeah- as of now, I'm open to art trades, collaborations, and commissions. I think that they are really cool. IMPORTANT- please don't ask me if you can use anything you see here as a character. They've all already got a personality of their own. Instead, drop me a line- I'll be happy to draw something just for you, completely free of charge.

I loved your tour "incredible places", and i would love to see artwork like that from someone who can appreciate groves of trees and people talking to each other from different buildings through opposite windows Hannah M. Friederichs replies: "Wow- Good point. In fact, this has to be the best piece of constructive criticism I've ever gotten. You are right, and starting now, I'm going to focus on landscapes and architecture more acutely. Thank you very much. I am glad you liked the tour. Thanks again." | |

| 25 Aug 2005 | Caitlin Shae Baxter | Loading...Rest well in the knowledge that you stand out as talented in a gallery of hundreds (perhaps thousands?) of talented people. Your depictions of people are truly remarkable, as I'm sure you know- I'm not the first one to stand slack-jawed in awe staring at your work. Thank you for sharing. I especially loved your impression of Brunnhilde. Only one suggestion- perhaps you could add some real backgrounds (excluding the celtic knot one, of course, that was amazing). Anyway, keep up the fantastic work. | |

| 26 Oct 2007 | Invicta | Loading...If you ever decide to updfate your tour "I Love You", and get stucky for quotes, I recommend you look at the lyrics of Maaya Sakamoto's song 'Yakusuko Wa Iranai (Promises Not Necessary)'. They seem to fit the mood of the tour really well, especially the chorus: http://www.jameswong.com/ykproject/disc/lyrics.php?cd=escaone&track=01 | |
