I finally got through the mods; three chapters posted on brand new Elfwood page.

Hi. New to the woods and found your site. I've only read 'Dragon-chapters1-4' so far but I will read more when I find the time. You are well versed in writing. As to your style: Never change what you feel strongly about for the masses! Your style is just right, and I enjoyed what I've read thus far. Oh, and congrats on the mod's choice.

Sarah Colley replies: "Thanks Glad you are enjoying it. Of course, I have stopped working on it and am doing a rework of the world into a new version of it, but hey, that's okay LOL any feedback you want to leave it always appreciated."

Whoa, I have not been over here in FOEVER! *feels kinda bad about that* Looks like you are still doing awesome though. ^-^ And congrats on finishing Children of the Storm... and if I'm reading correctly, having sequels for it. Nice.

Right, so I came back to see if there was anything new (which there is, and it is good. lol), and also because I've been wracking my brains trying to remember who all around the woods really liked my Kylana & Bremen story and wanted to know about others. I think you were one of them. If not, then I apologize most sincerely for cluttering up your comment box; but if you ARE... then there are two new K&B stories on my shelf. (New Beginning and The Strange Knight) Actually there are three... but no one has yet guessed that the last one belongs with the others. Not that that makes any sense. lol

I'm commenting inbetween packing, cooking, editing, and running after a six-month-old puppy, so forgive me if I'm not as coherent as I should be.

I've forgotten where I stopped off in "Dragon," so I'll probably be going over the whole thing again, just to re-acquaint myself. If you could email me the most recent chapter, that'd be nice. Real Life tends to make my head explode. Wish I could put it on hold. *searches for magical formula*

I'll be active on Elfwood till my flight back home, on November 4th.

The Children of the Storm is a fantasic piece you have written. I am so interested in that story I keep reading it over and over. I being a writer myself love the characters and the action scenes. Love that ordinrary people end up being the most important key to a hidden truth. Fantasic work once again. Keep writing and have a happy holidays and a bright new year.

Hi there! I dropped by yesterday and took a look at your "Dragon" stories. Just kinda sat and read what you have so far. I like it very much. There are several little errors here and there - but, I know how it is to edit your own stuff and I'm definitely not that great at it!
I chuckled at your characterization of the children. Personally, I think you write them well.
The only thing that really stood out that I think you could do better is when you describe what people are wearing. There seemed to be a lot of "she/he was wearing" instead of having someone else describe the clothes from their point of view. ie: As so&so watched the ceremony, the stark darkness of the Prince's (whatever) contrasted dramatically with his pale skin. - or something along those lines.
Other than that, I was sucked right in - as I usually am when I tackle your words! *smile* I'll be looking for more of this - hopefully, soon?

Sarah Colley replies: "Hey, nice to see you again! I actually stopped writing that one a while back. I am not even sure the most recent chapters ever made it up here. I write myself into a box and the only way to fix it seemed to be to rework the whole thing. I intend to go back to the world and characters at some point, though. More writing coming from you? It's been forever, but I still enjoy it. Tell me you have done more?"

hi there, Sarah! I had some extra time this morning, so I wandered over to see if you had any updates. I finally got time to sit down and work on Deljin last week. I have what is hopefully the final edit of the first three chapters up. I also reworked Sand Queen and have a chapter of that up, which I don't think you've seen yet.
I honestly haven't had much time to write lately - life has just been too crazy. I am really working at taking at least one of my days off and devote to my writing. Of course, this is still sort of a theory at this point! LOL - Wander by and say hi if you get a chance. I do check out your homepage now and again, as well. *smile* Take care till next time!
