The actual title of this poem is 'List', but I didn't want people to think this was just a list of things--it's 'list' as in 'take heed' ^_^

List—
Dawn’s soft sigh
Awakens the slumb’ring
Wind
Who stretches,
Yawns, gently disturbs the
Trees
Rustling leaves
Stir the softly dreaming
Nymphs
To, rising,
Soothe the owl, awake the
Birds
Of morning
Who herald the rising
Day

wow, nice little poem, wistful almost, yet somehow captivating, and simple at the same time, if ya know what i mean. I like your use of words here and the structure of the poem is nice too, well done.

Hi! This caught my eye because of the title, and I think it's really pretty in a sort of calming...uh...way.(Sorry, I know, lame but I'm having trouble thinking of a good word.)Anyway, really good, I love how it flows and shows the connection of all n ature. Good job, Me likey!

:-) Elizabeth Wilcox replies: "Thanks! Calming is actually a good adjective for this poem."

i think the title is fine. you have a good heart set in nature. i live out in the country and it seams to have its own character. one that comes to me in my sleep but that is just in the begging. i daydream alot and it is wonderful even if my teachurs hate it. grades are for people who dont exsist. the only thing it tells is how much some one gains in one small yaer. i think it is best that someone takes a look at the whole picture. the whole picture is there in your writing and it has a way with words. i love the title. the view of your poem in my openoin is listless.
