Look twice. I based this picture around one theory that the unicorn may have originated from travellers spotting antelopes (specifically oryx) at a distance, so that two horns looked as one. Also, I just wanted to do a not-quite-traditional unicorn. I do actually just the 'horse with a horn on its head' style, but since I love gemsboks so hard, I wanted to try it with their body type. End result is an extremely fugly, but rather unique uni.

I really like this one. I wonder how you came up with this picture. What inspired you to draw this creative piece?

This is just gorgeous. I will never understand how you can make things so realistic. That's all I have to say.

Absolutely fabulous! I'm a wildlife biology major and I a have to say you have captured the setting and the animal anatomy perfectly. You have also made the setting very much believable. Kudos! (First comment tap dance)

Did you know tht another theory of the unicorn also came from a group of men who gound a narwhale horn on a beach and horse tracks leading away, they had thought the horn had fallen of the horse, how the came to tht conclusion i don't know but human kind has always been how you put it....Slow.
Oh and some more trivia te centuar myth came from the first man seen riding a horse
anyway its a brilliant pic just like the rest in your gallery.
