Hey!
My name is Elizabeth Rogers too! Although people usually call me Liz, or Crownie, which is short for my middle name of Crowninshield. I'm also a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and fantasy. Have you ever read the Golden Compass by Philip Pullman? Its the first book of this great fantasy trilogy that I really liked, so I'm recommending it to you. I also loved the Redwall series, by Brian Jacques, but neither of these are quite up to par with Tolkien. I'm 16 and I live in the States, but my mother is an artist. I'm afraid to confess that I'm really quite awful as an artist, so I really appreciate and admire your talent. Keep going and I wish you luck!

:-) Elizabeth Rogers replies: "Hmm no i've never read those books but isn't redwall a cartoon or something? lol i dunno, I love your middle name that is awesome! "

Hi!
My name is Elizabeth too, and I’m from Australia. I live in Gosford, in the state of New South Wales. Your drawings are fantastic, and I really like ‘Lord of The Rings’ as well. So does my mum, she’s an expert! Do you have any other hobbies?
Gotta go, I'm a Girl Guide and tomorrow I'm going to camp for a few days. Lotsa stuff to pack!

18 Elizabeth Rogers replies: "Hmm hobbies, Well i'm really into music, i play the trumpet and sing. I also play rugby which is an awesome sport! you should all try it! and size does not matter! lol"

Hey Elizabeth,
good luck with your Art & Science - maybe you could be a "renaissance girl"!

Anyway, a suggestion for ya ... have you read "Northern Lights" (part of a trilogy) by Philip Pullman. I think you'll like the concept of daemons!

7 Elizabeth Rogers replies: "Renaissance girl... hmm i like the sound of that, but i think i might be throwing music in there with my art in science, lol and possibly dropping the science..10 i change my mind alot, but i'll check out that book when i get the chance"

hey my name is Eliza... just kidding, its maria, but anywho i think your pretty good at drawing now, so don't worry about not being good enough for an art major. im 14 too, but i mainly focus on horses(cant live with out them) dragons, horrible disfigured people(i cant draw people for the life of me)and a few dogs here and there. i was thinking that you might like the dragonlance series by margret weis and tracy hickman. i LOVE them. there books have very intricate and interlocking characters and they have more than one story going on at the same time. its really awsome. but its really not as complicated as it sounds. hope you have fun drawing and you realllly should check out those books (theres like a gazillion) i think you will enjoy them! *maria*

22 Elizabeth Rogers replies: "Lol i'm really re-considering the art major thing, i think i might head off to toronto and take art there... who knows... but anyway! i've heard about the dragon lance actually, my cousin and brother are obsessed. They're on my "Books to read" list along with like 50 million other ones. 10"
