Yes! Advertising is very good, I agree. I read "Of Heat." It's a great idea and off to an interesting start. Your style is a little rough sometimes (like the metaphors) but it's nothing that won't improve with age and practice. So keep it up! You might want to add a little more padding to certain situations. The prologue was paced well, but things happened a bit too fast in chapter one. Some more descriptions might help. By the way, my middle name is also Irish, "Ethyne." No one can pronounce it properly, either. I'm pretty sure it's Celtic for, strangely enough, "Fire." Liz Riza replies: "Well, thank you for visiting my site. Honestly, I think "Turned the Grass to Dry" is a lot better...I was a lot more motivated about that than "Of Heat." Still, your comments on my style are very helpful. I'll work on refining when I get a chance and maybe even do an exercise on writing descriptively! Thanks again."

Hey Liz, I just finished reading all your stories and was very impressed by all the different ideas and techniques. Your strength is definitely with finding unusual stories and characters and making them interesting when they could easily be hard to connect with. I think your weakness would be the switching of styles of writing during one story is still rough... first or second person and so forth. But that's obviously something that will smooth out over time. I can see you being published already. Liz Riza replies: "Aww, thanks! This comment made me grin for two reasons: A, I know I don't have a defenite style yet, I'm working on it...but how do you develop STYLE? Is there a class or something? It's hard! B, published? Wow, that's up there. Thanks for visiting! "
What?? How many new stories have you uploaded? I'm not able to read them all! I surely have told you I wanted to, right? And if not ... now you know I wanted to. But hey, that's unfair! I'm through your Sphinx story now and Rook. Oh, you've put Rook down. I thought I only had three to read now, but five?? Help! ;-) Well, ignore that. I must say I really did love your 'Turned the grass to dry' story. The way you pictured the Sphinx! It brings her near the reader, but keeps her evil ... Great!! I would say 'More!' now, but I think that matter's settled ... )
cheers, Jenny! Liz Riza replies: "Yeah...the moderators thought Rook was a little too..umm...graphic. Oops. I'll tone it down some and put it up here later. I didn't mean to be unfair! I just found all this stuff I thought I lost and had to put it up! I just appreciate the fact that you came and visited. Have a wonderful day! "

After sorting through all of the piles of paper, I gave them back to the myterious lady and frowned.
"Well?" I said, "How about a way out? You said you had an idea."
The woman suddenly snapped her fingers and I found myself back in the corner of my dark cave that is my brain. Sighing, I knew I was home again. ____________________________________________________________
Interesting way of writing, I really enjoyed Of Heat very much as well as Telemarketers and Turned the Grass to Dry was completely amazing! Obsession was a bit bizzare, but I liked it. I think Oracle could use a little work, and thats about all. If you put up anymore stories please tell me! Liz Riza replies: "Maybe I will take off Oracle. I kinda ran out of steam halfway through; maybe I'll not desecrate the actual poem (go read it!), lol. Bizarre keeps life interesting, you know? So I try to be! Thank you for all your wonderful comments! Please tell ME if you put up any more."
[sigh] You've put me to shame. Your style is amazing, your ideas genius, and your sense of humor practically unparalleled. Talent, talent, talent indeed. Lucky you
You've got tons of potential; keep writing! I'll be checking back to see new stuff soon...don't disappoint me!
