I have always been wondering, why some people spell fairy like faery? Anyway...I kinda like this picture, so don't be mean. It's very hard to paint something this small. Please leave a comment while I keep jabbering on about useless stuff....blah blah blah......

This is really cute. I love how tiny and fairy like it all is. And I love all the colors! 2

:-) Elizabeth emma hampton replies: "Thanks, i used ummm those squeezable paint things, and just poored it all on a paper towel and used a paintbrush that had like only one bristle. I was fun though, despite all the hand cramps I got LoL."

That´s true! Faery, fairy, faerie... It´s made so hard for us non-english-speaking folk... I think I spell it differently every single time 1

Anyway, One of my fav pics. It´s so tiny, wee and pretty! 3

Faery? Faery comes from a root word that means, "fate." Fae-ry.

The word, Fairie is Gaelic. "irie" means, "in the land of the...." So "fairie" means, in the land of the faery. Faery is a single being, Fae is a collective noun. Like Fae-army or fae-musicians. Incidently, humans are called Fir Bolgs by the fae.

Nice drawing, a good challenge to do something so small.

:-) Elizabeth emma hampton replies: "Thanks for explaining it! I never even knew that 1 and thanks for the compliment too 2"

Nice picture, she looks happy1 And John Farley is one smart fellow- I didn’t know that either, and I have Scots ancestry and know a bit of Gaelic.

:-) Elizabeth emma hampton replies: "Yes isnt he a smart cookie (: mmm a cookie 10 haha thanks so much 2"
