Tag As FavoriteComment		Motoko Kusanagi of The classic syberpunk Ghost in the Shell. this is from the Stand Alone complex series. Definitly by far one of my most favorite animes and anime characters. so I wanted to go for some dramatic posing in this one. she's supposed to be falling down towards the viewer, not sure if it worked or not, but boy was the prespective hard! either way, i'm pretty happy with it.

designed it to be a wallpaper so you're more then welcome to dowlnoad it at:  <a href="http://www.deviantart.com/view/27090323/" target="_blank">wallpaper</a> it's for a 1600x1200 resolution (that's what i work at) but if you scale it down keeping the aspect ratio, it should work for almost any setting.

the words in the background are from the opening song to the secod gig of the series....Iv'e been listening to it waaay to much apparently, enjoy!

about 5 hours in Photoshop

Wow this is GREAT! I love GITS, and the Major in particular. I think you've really captured her. The glow reflecting off her clothing is a wonderful detail and the pose is very dramatic. Including the theme lyrics is also a nice touch.

I only saw the gits movie, i think the cyberpunk idea is neat.

Anyways, this is such a beautiful image. The pose is well done. I love the coloring and your drawing style. Lighting is nice too. I agree with a previous comment, "you have done justice to the character"

Hi see her face is great but there is something wrong with the dimnisions of the body .... Also the upside down pose is great.

Although I never was a big fan of Ghost in the Shell, I have always been a huge fan of the character, and this is the most amazing image of her I have ever seen. I especially like the upside down pose... very original.
