OOh, its all cool...but the cat is really well drawn, and the jars wow! fantabulous....I love the bushy red hair aswell but mebbe you muted the picture a bit too much, whuteva medium you was usin, but I think I smell some sort of digital aid. Really atmospheric too...^_^ Lora Craig-Gaddis replies: "Did I mute it too much? I'm sorry. I'm extremely nearsighted and have always enjoyed the way the world looks without my vision corrected better than with - and so, whatever medium I'm using - this tends to reflect in my art. But perhaps my vision is getting worse with age! LOL I'll try to watch that. grin As to "digital aid" - you detect correctly. Since recieving PSP and a graphics tablet and pen as a gift, I do almost all of my drawing on that now. I've found I can take many of the techniques I learned with oil painting and apply them there - without the drying time! On the other hand, I do miss the lovely smell of turpentine..."

24 Oct 2005	Justin Chi Chan	Loading... I really like how this drawing looks. The colors are very warm and pleasant. The background is drawn with great detail and quite beautifully. The only problem I have with this is the extra branding of your name near the center of this image.. it kinda for me.. takes me away from the charm and magic of this drawing.. I think your name in the corner would have been good enough... otherwise I still feel this is quite a beautiful and charming piece of work.
