A friend asked why I hadn't done my own version of the Crone in the Goddess Triad.

I love this. There is a real tendancy to make the crone into a hag since she does represent latter life and eventually death, but I think you've done a beautiful job of representing her as sage and kindly, more sympathetic and grandmotherly than harsh and cruel. I think your color choices are amazing and work very well together, and your shading is as close to perfect as I've seen yet. The wonderful expressions of her familiars, and especially the cat, give amazing life and movement to this astonishing peice of art. Very well done, and I certainly hope to see more from you soon.

Wow! That is amazing! I recently became a wiccan, and this is an amazing pic of the Goddess. Now I have a standard to shoot for! As soon as my gallery is operational, I'm going to do a few of these myself! 1

After a bit of explination about uploading using a scanner and what you can do on this website, it has dawned on me that in the scanning/uploading process, the picture may have been reversed, thus changing the crescent. All appologies, if that's the case. Love and light blessings,
Neysa

I adore this picture, as a witch/pagan/wiccan, and the ONLY thing I can fault it, is your crescent moon is facing in waxing phase, the symbol of the maiden. if the moon were turned round my awe would be never ending. A beautiful piece of work regardless. Love and light blessings,
Neysa

She reminds me a lot of Hecate, the Greek goddess of crossroads. Did you draw her with Hecate in mind?

Great job. I'm completely speechless.
