SciFi and Fantasy Art Mermaid by Lori ´Lolli´ Thomas


	This is the third sculpture I did in college. We had to make a bowl with either an animal or a mythological creature connected to it, so this is what I came up with. I actually used toothpicks to make her eyelashes. Hahaha! Hope you like. :)

28 Dec 2003	Gallery-less	Loading... In my first post, i meant staring at the stars. Sorry. Hehehe! Thanks so much for your comment! I love working with clay, not so good with pottery but I'm working on it. My sculpturing teacher, whom I did this project with in college, passed away last summer. I wish I could have done more pottery with him, he was a master. But I got the go ahead from another old prof. from college to go use the sculpturing studio whenever I wanted. So you may see more! Thanks again!
28 Dec 2003	Gallery-less	Loading... this is gorgeous! her facial expression is beautiful, like she is staring up through the water at the sky, marveling at their brilliance.... It is a wonderful bowl, maybe you could put another shot of the back of it in your gallery? i would also love to see the fin! keep making pottery, you have an amazing talent for it. once again a brilliant piece.
