| 5 May 2005 | Timmh | Well there was some guy saying and I quote "the Magnificent Louisa Gallie" so either you are getting recognition or the guy is a big fan. It seems that this particular website has a recurring problem of breaking down according to the FAQ I don't know if you remember Gordon Jeans but I e-mailed him one of your pieces just to show him just how good you have become (I hope that's okay) and he was full of praise. I'm nearing the end of my first year in IT and Admin Management at Moray College and I start the HND after the summer. The last couple of years have been a blur but this summer is going to be great because I'm going to the Download Festival in England. Anyway I wish you luck for the rest of your course and I hope you pass everything okay. Later Timmh PS Have you heard about the forthcoming Final Fantasy Advent Children movie yet??? Louisa M Gallie replies: "Ah, well, that's my best friend Beckie singing my praises there, so it doesn't count - she's not exactly objective, is she? Yes, I've actually seen Gordon around once or twice now that he's at a nearby college, and I am desperate for Adent Children to come out!" | |
| 13 May 2005 | Detonating dog | Your art work has improved since school (and it was amazing back then to) if your wondring who this is its wayne mcmanus (wayne walne at school) Louisa M Gallie replies: "Sorry about the lateness - this comment arrived at a time when email notifications were bouncing from my address for some reason! Anyway, thanks. Hope you're getting on all right too - good to hear from you!" | |
| 5 Sep 2005 | Timmy | Hey again I just wanted to say that the "Nova" is brilliant. How long did that take you to do? I'm just starting my HND (1st year) in Business and it's a lot less stressful than teaching computing to five year olds (I did some voluntary work at my local primary school during the summer and part of it involved teaching computing to the younger classes which was great fun) Download was great fun apart from the killer sunburn and the drunken antics of a certain long-haired fellow Dundee attendee. Later Timmy Louisa M Gallie replies: "An evening. It was a quick piece By the way, this isn't really the place for long messages. I have email *points up*" | |
| 5 Oct 2005 | Elizabeth Bartlett | You like Firefly! YAY! Another fan! Not a lot of people have even heard about it; I'm looking forward to seeing some Firefly fan art from you! Did you see the Serenety movie? Louisa M Gallie replies: "Not yet - it doesn't come out until Friday in the UK! I got fed up of waiting three months ago - it NEEDS to be out! *stamps foot*
*Grins* Firefly fanart in definitely somewhere on my Insanely Long List of Things To Do." | |

| 20 Dec 2005 | W. van Niekerk | wow you made some progress through the years! I see you got yourself a tablet. could you give me some advise on it? Like what brand or even better...where can I get one? I'm looking for one for years but I simply can't find it in any store here. I have my gallery in the same room as you have. watched your art getting mature. keep it up! its good! Louisa M Gallie replies: "Wow, thank you! It's cool to know that somebody actually thought my stuff was interesting enough to have been watching me all this time.As to the tablet, it's a NISIS make, which I bought in a local office supplies store, I'm afraid. It took me ages to track one down too. If you're looking for a WACOM, you should try http://stores.ebay.com/Discount-Dragon. Wendy, a fellow Elfwood member, sells Wacom tablets at discounted prices there." | |

| 23 Jun 2007 | Anders <haggeman86@hot...co | Hi there. Was looking at the start page for Elfwood on the pictures there and saw yours and was amazed, you're a very good artist. Thou I haven't seen your earlier work I noted that your e-mail wasn't visual so I couldn't sent u an e-mail as u said in the text. Do you have a site with all your work, love to see your old works. Another question. Do you Scottish celebrate midsummer as we Swedish do? Thanks for the joy your pictures gives /Anders Larsson | |
