My name is Pål Lövendahl, I´m 28 years old (born -77) and I am a graphic designer, I live in Malmö (Sweden). I´ve been drawing as long as I can remember and Fantasy themes has always been the no.1 thing for some reason. I use normal graphite pencils and ink (both pen & brush) as well as acrylics and any kind of mix between them. And from time to time I try oilpainting as well. I´ve played various kinds of RPGs and read MANY fantasy bookseries, this is probably what`s inspired me the most, but my favourites in art are Frank Frazetta, Ashley Wood, Simon Bisley, Brom and John Howe. From the world of comics; Mark Smylie(Artesia), Mike Mignola(Hellboy), Drew Hayes(Poison Elves), Frank Miller(Sin City) and Wendy Pini(Elfquest). Some dreams are to be able to make some money of my art and to someday be able to render the impossible in a convincing way (woo, that sounds ambitious). Oh yeah, hope you like the pics and feel free to critizise.

Very nice work. I like the amor designs that you do. As for the nudity keep drawing it you do the form well. The only thing I think you should work on is details in faces, both male and female. Keep up the great work.

Your nudes are alot of fun to look at. You are a brillant artist. I really enjoy your work and hope to some day reach your level. Im only 18 so I have time to do so. Even when the porpotions and wrists are some times snapped it is still brillant and gorgeous work and I see nothing wrong with any of it. I see things that I might do differently but hay this is your art and it kicks ass.

I LOVE THE NUDES. Excellent work.

Why did they remove your celtic paladin and samari, both of those fit the fantasy genre, lots of fantasy books are based on historical things. If they removed those than all the pictures knights and kings should be removed as well, i am not impressed with this moderating.

Your Artwork is supreme. I agree with you on a comment that you made that we should see more fantasy Characters from literature. Jordan has his own following, but how about: Erikson, cook, Martin, Gemmell, and even Goodkind.
I know that I would love to see someone's Rendition of a Mord-sith in skin-tight leathers or Waylander on the prowl. Sorry ... don't think that Im proding you for requests or anything. Im just tired of page after page of generic faries, dragons, and cat-people.I don't think that anyone would want to see anything that I put on paper, so I must get my "Fix" from all you talented people. Let me just say that yuor artwork is real. take care.

That’s correct, I did some artwork for Hollow Ground. The playable characters and the intro splash page. Thanks for recognizing it.
