Tag As FavoriteComment		This is a cut version of the original, which continues on towards the road behind LRRH, to gramma's house...where there's a space for text. However, I don't have the text version here. ^_^; The original SIZE is also about 22x26 inches... So, here is my editorial on Little Red Riding Hood's hidden meaning. I was going to create the wolf 'true to life' below the belt, so to speak, but I ommitted that idea, knowing that could..er..distract from the rest of the feel of the piece, etc. So....interpret to your heart's content...this is my beleif in what the Grimmn brothers are teaching. Art and idea: (c) me, Lia 2004. Colored pencils, watercolors, and watercolor pencils to reinforce details.

Pretty risque, but neat interpretation. I like how one side of the picture is light and the other, dark and sinister.

I’ve heard that this is held among most as the most likely message this story holds. There’s a movie called ’Freeway’ (I don’t reccomend it by the way) that begins with many hand-drawn pictures that look a lot like this. Nice art... always good to see an artist who is really just drawing things AS THEY ARE and not merely someone drawing... less than PG art and hiding behind the "Who are you to judge art?" line.

have you heard of Sondheim's musical, Into the Woods? Find it if you can... there are some uncanny similarities to the "Hello Little Girl" song, plus it's an excellent musical! (All hail Bernadette Peters)
