^_^ I did this an exact year ago.. Ma'at and Anubis, yes, I know what the hyroglypcis are...I wouldn't put gibberish or false placed words on a piece. The writing is their names, and what they stand for as gods. And since Ma'at and Anubis are 'professional partners' in their jobs...I placed them together. Done with Gesso, blades, oil pastels...and other stuff I can't rightly remember. Idea and art (c) me, Lia 2004. Gods (c) ancient peoples 3000 BCE+

6 Oct 2006	6gunsally	Loading... What was that painted on? It gives it an almost modern graffiti feel, cool juxt with the ancient themes, very nicely done! Lia Tomco replies: "It is gesso on board, texturized with all kinds of things, and then "frescoed" with fiber paint, oil pastels, india ink...I think that's it. Then I reinforced lines/colors with the same oil pastels/inks."
