THIS is a redo of the original the colored one will be coming soon i just fixed the old one up a bit

this is my version of Aljan from the Firebringer Trilogy. i read the trilogy a couple years ago and recently reread them i know the drawing is rather plain and he is supposed to be black but i will color him soon i just wanted some critique if there is any. anyhow this is now one of my personal favorites i worked really hard on him i know he might not be what some people thought he would look like but this is my version. enjoy!

Wow Clara! Awesome work! I really love the head pose and the anatomy is great! It's definitly one of your best, or even your best... yet lol. This is a big improving! the only CC(it's not really CC it's more poiting out) is that his chest looks somewhat weird, but maybe after colouring and shading it'll look better. Another thing is that his nostril looks a bit big, just like a big hole, try to make it more defined when you color and shade it ok? Beatiful work really, even if it's just a pic, this is one of your best updates!

This is nice! You have a good sense of anatomy and proportion here, I think. 2 It looks great to me!

Those books are great. I really like the pose here, and the musculature lines. If you added a little more shading, this image would be superb. I especially love his eye. There seems to be so much reflected in it. Some desparation, happiness, dread, hope, and courage. Great job on this.

This is great, you are skilled in the making of horses! The only crit I would have is that the horn doesn't look attached, almost like it was taped on or sumthin'. otherwise this is really awesome.

Very nice. The anatomy looks great. The only critique I would offer is that the nostril needs a bit of refinement -- maybe make it slightly smaller and with more definition.

2 Clara A. Easter replies: "i completely agree with you about the nostril thank you!"
