Down in the deep darknes the lake people dwell. Very serious they are and seldom does a smile light up their grave faces. Morna, the only and very timid daughter of the king was considert to be the fairest of them all and the king loved her with all his heart.

I have a problem here. Either I will spend the rest of the day giving praise to this wonderful picture, or I will just sit here and stare in awe...

Wow, amazing job with the watercoloring, very beautiful and sureal in a creepy way.

Wow, she really IS the fairest of them all. Really truly. Perfectly-featured people could never be as fascinating to look at as this alluringly ugly little creature.

Whoa, this is excellently-made. Her face really reminds me of a boy I once saw in my dream... He was pretty creepy looking to, in the same kind of cute way.

I love it...she's no super model, but she's not supposed to be, and that's what I love about her-she's very sweet and has an inner loveliness

Doesn't this little girl remind anyone of Edward sissorhands? I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, it's very dark and moody, but still light as well. I think the lightness is from the flowers in her hair. She looks young and childlike yet she's solemn like she knows the weight her royalty will someday rest on her young shoulders. Very thought provoking, keep up the awesome work!

Wow... I’ve been looking through your pics and am amazed that you can get that much detail from watercolor. I can hardly keep two colors separate, let alone get that much detail in! I agree with Agnes.
