Well, what can I say?

I love drawing, handicrafts, some sports like track and field or Mexican Boxing ( watch boxing, not participate...), reading interesting stuff, the net, and badgering friends and family members. I'm pretty much just getting started uploading art at online galleries so bear with me and my crappy stuff ( although my friends tell me they're pretty good, but well that's what they're for ). Hopefully someone here with more experience can help me improve.

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
Lots of foreign imports here, like The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Golden Compass, Minority Report, Bridge to Terabithia, The Others, Harry Potter movies, Cowboy Bebop, Final Fantasy among others. Local fantasy movies...hmm, El Laberinto del Fauno is very good, as well as Abre los Ojos. TV shows, lots of DVD compilations, like Smallville, Farscape ( although the last season was bad ), Stephen King's The Stand ( a gift from my brother ) miniseries, Battlestar Galactica, The Outer Limits, The Dead Zone etc. Not too many local sci-fi series here, so I rely on imports, hopefully I get to travel like my older siblings. I also watch some Japanese animation, mostly Hayao Miyazaki films, Ghost in the Shell, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Blood Plus, Full Metal Alchemist and others. Oh, and I loved The Triplets of Belleville.

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Tolkien's books of course. Pullman's His Dark Materials as well as Neil Gaiman's books. Joanne Rowling's Harry Potter, Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles, C.S. Lewis' Narnia, La Piedra Y El Hiero, stories by Angel Torres Quesada especially Orden Estelar, short stories by Victor Conde, and the writings of Jose Antonio Cotrina. The list goes longer...

Favorite Music
My tastes are eclectic when it comes to music, I don't really mind the genre or the language, if it's good, it's good. Some of my favorite bands/singers/music composers: ACDC, Bon Jovi, Cypress Hill, Ennio Morricone, Daft Punk, Carlos Aguirre, Cecilia, Francesco de Gregori, The Scorpions, Jorge Negrete, Control Machete, James Blunt , Cafe Tacuba, Yoko Kanno, Hans Zimmer, Dizzy Gillespie, Poe, Tori Amos, Heroes del Silencio, Gustavo Cerati, Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Paco de Lucia, James Horner, Hajime Chitose, Utada Hikaru and many others.
