SciFi and Fantasy Art SHIDOU, Hikaru by S. Liang

Here's Hikaru Shidou, from Magic Knight Rayearth by CLAMP. Her element is fire. (Surname is capitalized in the title because earlier someone told me they liked my 'Shidou' picture... and here I had thought most anime fans understood the nuances of Asian languages. :p)

I drew this as my submission to an art challenge from a friend to draw a game character and anime character team-up. Hikaru was originally supposed to be posed with Marth from Super Smash Brothers Melee, but I ended up not following through with the challenge and was left with only this drawing.

My MKR art book served as reference for her clothes but most definitely not the pose.
