| 7 Jan 2005 | Tamara Boudewijn | You have some very nice drawings(read: dresses) here! I like the fasion/clothing idea | |
| 7 Jan 2005 | Stephen J. Bailey | Some excellent costume design in your work. I always thought the Black Knight should get the ladies but women...never know what they will go and do next! | |

| 24 Sep 2005 | Erica | Hey Lydia-for being self taught and eighteen-your sense of anatomy is great-especially the forshortening of your arms and hands(this means turning the limbs toward the viewer on a flat piece of paper and doing it successfully). I can tell you look at a lot of anime-but you also have a great sense of realism-try not to get locked into drawing in a "caricature style"-this is where studying classics or even other fantasy artists of different media and genre comes in. For a great book on the high form of anime get "How to draw Kung-Fu Comics" also watch some of Myasaki's animes like "Spirited Away" and "Nauusica of the Valley of the Winds"-he is the master.Great sense of color and themes behind your pictures. It will gel in time-part of the live long magic in the pursuit of art is the connection between your mind and fingers-it is a journey that never ends. Keep it up! | |
| 24 Sep 2005 | That one guy | We all know that tuba, being the foundation of everything, is truly the greatest of all. Go Band geeks!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
| 25 Sep 2005 | Tasia MacKay | Yay, fellow band nerd!! I already graduated, but in high school I played the flute, oboe, stand-up bass, and bassoon. I still play the flute, piano, and lots of Celtic instruments, so I guess I still could be classified as a band nerd, no? hehe Your art is great! Very colourful, I like it. | |
| 25 Sep 2005 | Larry N. Morris | Congratulations for being selected Artist of the Day!
Some of your art makes me think you should consider being a fasion designer. | |
