Lydia 'Prairieghost' Jacobs replies: "I'm so glad you appreciate it ^_^ I am quite pleased with this pic and it's good to know someone else is as well." | |
| 26 Aug 2004 | Raven_moonwalker | Loading...wow... I really like this. It's truelly a beautiful work of art! It's paws kind of look like hooves though, which I actually like ^_^
I love those myths too. | |
| 27 Sep 2004 | MATEO | Loading...Something about the legs reminds me off a zebra. The body art looks more African than Native American. Maasai? I'm not sure. Lydia 'Prairieghost' Jacobs replies: "You'll find that in a lot of cultures, there are similarities between their styles in art and music, even if they never actually interacted. As for the striped legs, take a look at the striped stockings worn by hopi Kachina dancers and it may make more sense." | |

| 2 Jul 2008 | Meagan Boonie McGlasson | Loading...I would absolutely love to use this on a tour of American Legends and Folklore I’m making at the moment. I wondered if you had any objections? It’s still in the works so feel free to contact me whenever you find time. | |
| 26 Feb 2009 | David Belknap | Loading...I love this piece of work, I really do! I’ve always been into mythology, and the Coyote stories are a neglected treasure. I hope you don’t mind, but I altered this drawing slightly and had a tattoo done of it (I wouldn’t have dreamed to change it if it weren’t for the fact that there was just too much detail to fit a tattoo of this anywhere other than the broad of my back.) This was my first tattoo, and I got it with my parents at the same parlor that did my Mom’s latest and my Sister’s first tattoos. (Being raised in a family of bikers does strange things to one’s idea of "Normal" Lydia 'Prairieghost' Jacobs replies: "Wow, that is so great! No, I don’t mind at all! I’m honored that you liked this image enough to want it to be a part of you, even if it was slightly modified to fit! ^_~ Thanks for the great comment--you really made my day!" | |
