SciFi and Fantasy Art Denver by Lydia ´Prairieghost´ Jacobs

I actually drew this picture before my brother died, but didn't color it until just today--10 October 2003. I'm pleased with the results, even though when I drew this, I had a distinctly different opinion of Denver. I embodied the spirit of the city as a playful, miniature equine-like dragon, and while I imagine that had I been in a better part of town, that's what it would have been, in my area it was more like a foul-smelling harpy.

This is very beautiful the color blending gives it such a mystic effect while giving off some feeling of forboding as well. the light at the bottom is quite the beautiful symbol, it gives such warmth to the rest that is so cold an dark. the dragon is drawn so beautifully and with grace The most beautiful aspects of this picture are the colors, the colors are really nice. three thumbs!
