was this taken from Treasure Planet? For it looks amazingly similar to the way they did the jewels.

:-) Lydia 'Prairieghost' Jacobs replies: "It's so weird that you would say that because I haven't thought about Treasure Planet even once since I saw it way back when until early this morning. No, I didn't borrow any elements of this picture from somewhere else. This is entirely my own work."

Wow! This would have been a great entry in the camaflogue contest! It took me awhile to spot him, too! Very, very cool! (I wonder what he looks like NOT submerged in treasure?? Hmmmm...)

:-) Lydia 'Prairieghost' Jacobs replies: "Didn't realize there was a camaflague competition or I would have entered! lol Actually, I think of this dragon as a she...even gave her a name--Bukara. When she's not burried in her hoard, she is a magnificent gold dragon with jewels embedded in her scales in several places, particularly along her back. She uses her camoflague to take unwitting thieves by surprise when they sneak into her lair."
