SciFi and Fantasy Art A Dwarf by Lydia Thomas

This is my first dwarf. It is not Gimli, though I did use Gimli's axe. I was always doing humans or elves, so I decided to do a dwarf. I had fun doing all the different layers of clothing. I mixed up which ones were on top of the other a few times, and had to do it over. He is wearing a leather, fur lined vest over a wool shirt over a chain mail shirt over a woven tunic. The chain mail did take a long time, though not ages. I did this picture in pencil. This particular dwarf is eying your neck, trying to decide if its the right hight to cut off or if he should get a box (inside joke, watch the Two Towers).
